Читаю книжку Evolution. The triumph of idea. Автор -- Carl Zimmer, тот самый, который про паразитов.
Книжка отличная, но я не о том.
В тексте упоминается Wason Test. Цитирую дословно:
"Imagine that someone lays 4 cards in front of you. They read Z, 3, E and 4. You are told that there are also symbols on the other sides of the cards, and that there's a general rule that a vowel card always has an even number on the other side. Which card do you need to turn over to see if rule holds?"
И тут же приводит ответ "The answer is that you need to check E and 3". Этот ответ неверный.
Википедия формулирует этот тест несколько иначе, так что, возможно это сам Зиммер переврал условие так что ответ стал неверным, но всё равно смешно.
